Senior Business Analyst

For our growing team in Sofia, we are looking for a Mid-level Business Analyst who will work with our clients in the energy and commodities business to provide business analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support services for their front office and risk management activities. Would you like to: 

• Consult multinational wholesale energy trading companies?

• Apply and extend your knowledge of energy markets and commodity derivatives?

• Improve system functionalities, optimize products and processes, and contribute to the development and delivery of new IT solutions? 

• Support the setup and maintenance of various systems in the IT landscape of large wholesale energy traders?

Our expertise spans all major energy commodities (power, gas, oil, coal, freight, and emissions). We work across the ETRM landscapes of large and medium energy and commodity traders in Europe and the USA.

Desired skills: 

• Fluency in English (a must-have)  

• Knowledge of the trade lifecycles of OTC and exchange products  

• Knowledge of energy industry (power, gas, oil, certificates, coal, freight)  

• Good analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills  

• Knowledge of various risk measures and KPIs 

• Functional and technical knowledge of at least one ETRM/CTRM software (such as Endur, Allegro, Aligne, RightAngle, enTrader, Soptim, Molecule, etc.)  

• Ability to support the implementation or optimization of processes (or business functionalities) and/or development or extension of product functionalities 

• Understanding of project and/or product lifecycle and taking active participation in deliveries
